Roque's injury not too serious

September 1, 2008 09:08 by lmartinez

PAUL Ince has revealed that Roque Santa Cruz has picked up a recurrence of an achilles injury.

The Rovers hitman limped out of the Upton Park clash just before the half hour after picking up the same injury sustained during pre-season against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But with the international break now upon us, Ince is hopeful that last season's top scorer will be fit for the Ewood Park match against Arsenal on September 13th.

"He will be out for probably ten days to two weeks," revealed the Rovers boss. "It is the same injury that he got against Wolves.

"Someone came down on the bottom of his left achilles."
